In two weeks time we will be taking Maniototo Wool to Unwind 2015 in Dunedin. The thought of introducing our wool to true fibre connoisseurs is very exciting. In addition to the eleven standard Maniototo wool colours, there will be some special one-off colourways just for Unwind 2015.

My inspiration for colourways nearly always comes from the land and climate. Guess what. It is very dry in the South Island – but the gossamer grasses along our fenceline are thriving.

The colourway of this wool yarn is called “Gossamer Grass”.
