The marvellous wool clip for 2014 is being made into yarn. Today we visited Graham and Jacqui at Wild Earth Yarns in Christchurch where Maniototo Wool is being processed into the new season’s yarns. The scoured wool is weighed….. Then it goes through the carder…..looking like a fine cobweb which becomes a sheet of wool….and then splits …
