There is a demand for a new wool colour as a strong contrast with our warm subtle hand dyed Maniototo Wool colours. So here it is – “Dark Greywacke” – a rich charcoal, hand dyed by me this week. My neighbour Diane wants some to include in a woven blanket with our Barn Red and Natural Undyed White. Judy wants some yarn to knit sweaters for the Southern Men in her life, and Sally wants some for a crochet project. Here is “Dark Greywacke” photographed alongside the original “Greywacke” to show the difference, along with the Greywacke picture taken at the farm. I can’t wait to see all these wonderful creations using the wool.
